How much time have you spent this week being inactive? If the answer is more than 2 hours, then you are not getting enough physical activity. This can lead to health problems such as obesity, diabetes and heart disease. It’s now been proven that regular exercise helps prevent these diseases from happening in the first place! In today’s blog post we will be discussing how regular physical activity has helped heal my body from certain illnesses.

Obesity

When it comes to weight loss, exercise has proven time and again as the best way. It burns calories while toning muscles and boosting metabolism which all leads up to not only losing pounds but gaining muscle at the same time! This is why I’ve been able to lose close to 75 lbs by exercising on top of eating healthier foods than before; my husband also lost close to 100 lbs.

Diabetes

Recently, a study found that those who exercised had an 80% lower chance of developing diabetes than people who didn’t exercise at all. What I’ve noticed is that if I go more than two days without exercising my blood sugar levels will rise and it becomes harder for me to keep them under control; this has been the case since childhood due to obesity and dieting in which insulin production gets compromised as well. So remember: stay active or risk your health!

Heart Disease

When you have high cholesterol from eating foods such as saturated fats and trans-fats, your heart can be affected by raising the level of low-density lipoprotein (LDL). Exercise helps prevent this from happening by increasing the levels of high-density lipoprotein (HDL) which prevents cholesterol buildup, slowing down plaque formation.

Other Cancers

Cancer cells can’t grow and spread without a proper blood supply; exercise helps deliver more oxygen to your muscles so that they burn fat instead of sugar for fuel. This causes cancer cells to starve and die off while strengthening your immune system as well. The result is less risk in developing certain cancers such as breast or prostate!

Immune System Health

Regular physical activity will stimulate the production of white blood cells, which are needed for immunity against illnesses like colds or even flu season. It also strengthens muscle tissues so you’re better prepared when fighting off a potential illness.

Stress Relief

When I’m stressed it’s hard for me to concentrate or relax; exercising helps release the adrenaline and endorphins in my body which not only help keep you calm but also give you more energy! It can be as simple as taking an evening walk around your neighborhood, doing yoga before work or even going on a bike ride with your spouse/kids (just don’t forget about safety). You’ll feel better afterwards and recharged.

As said before, exercise is one of the best ways to burn calories since it burns them while toning muscles at the same time. This means that those who are trying to lose weight should have no problem losing pounds because they are not only eating healthier but exercising too!

Sleep Quality

Lack of sleep can lead to chronic stress and adrenal fatigue which will eventually affect your immune system in a negative way. Regular physical activity helps release endorphins into our bloodstreams which provide more energy for us; this also leads to better quality sleep cycles as well as reduced chance of developing diseases such as diabetes or heart disease.

Psychological Benefits

Studies show that regular exercise reduces depression by 60% and increases self-esteem by 80%; this is because it releases serotonin into your body which helps with mood stabilization. Exercise can also help lower anxiety levels as well!

Bone Health

When you exercise, the muscles contract which pushes against the bone and gets them stronger; this will decrease chances of osteoporosis down the road since bones are at their strongest when they’re exercised regularly.

Increased Energy Levels

Our bodies naturally produce endorphins to help keep us going throughout a day but regular physical activity increases those natural endorphins so you have an increased source for energy production. This means that instead of feeling sluggish during long days or on lazy weekends, we’ll feel more energized and less stressed out due to fatigue! Plus, we’re a lot less likely to be tired after eating something delicious since our muscles will use up the glucose for energy, not store it as fat.

Mood

Regular exercise helps lower risk of depression by 60% and increases self-esteem by 80%; this is because it releases serotonin into your body which helps with mood stabilization. Exercise can also help lower anxiety levels as well!

Social Benefits

When you work out at the gym or go on a run outdoors you’ll meet new people; this means that we have more chances in finding friends who share similar interests such as fitness goals or even just friendly conversation over coffee afterwards (you don’t always need an excuse to make friends!).

We know that physical activity is good for our muscles, bones, heart and joints. But did you know it’s also important for your brain? Engaging in a regular exercise routine improves memory function as well as the overall health of your mind.

If you want to start feeling better both inside and out, there are many ways physical activity can help heal your body. Get moving today with these tips mentioned in this blog.Hope you liked this blog for more such blogs check https://dissettle.org.
