We were asked to choose one tree from the most popular trees in the country to be the official tree of the world, and we said “Not here”. The response was a bit mixed, but we did get the response we wanted from the Swedish tech tree. We had an internal debate about whether we wanted to get the tree on the world’s most famous tree, or just get the one that would best represent our country.
At first the thought of getting the Swedish tech tree was daunting, but then we realized, we could easily get two of them. We picked the tree that was the least invasive, the one that’s easiest to maintain, and the one with the most support.
